Key Staff and PersonnelScott Johnson - President/Owner, Senior Project Manager/EstimatorScott Johnson, President of Desert West Builders, began his construction career as a carpenter in 1977 in Tempe, AZ. With his ability to take charge he immediately move up to a supervisory position. Soon he opened his first company and launched his career in the construction industry. His last position as Regional Vice President for a national general contractor helped develop the necessary skills to manage a level of construction projects that ranged from $2,500 to $3,000,000. Key PersonnelDesert West's staff includes five key personnel, whose activities are coordinated by the President/Senior Project Manager and integrated with the estimating/bidding division, all with extensive design/build experience and a wide range of project experience. From large, out-of-the-ground high quality corporate facilities, historic restoration to high design restaurants, fast-track retail, and tenant finish. Our staff has experience managing projects requiring meticulous attention to detail and technical installations. Every employee possesses the construction management and supervisory skills which are so necessary to meet the construction challenges of this exciting, ever changing industry. Susan Yeager: Office Manager, Special Assisstant to President Jeff Rubin: Commercial Supervisor; Twenty Five years in Commercial Building Supervision. Randy Brown: Commercial/Residential Supervisor & Finish Carpenter; Twenty Five years in Countertops & Cabinets/Millwork. Mike Kevins: Commercial/Residential Superintendent (20 years experience) Dave Grabe: Take-Off Estimator; Thirty years in the Lumber Industry.
